Meet Wolverine

Went to the Dodger game tonight, and it was more or less uneventful except for the fact that I saw Wolverine in action.  "Wolverine" in this case being an usher at Dodger Stadium, field level, between sections 43 and 45 (3rd base line).  I first noticed her in the second inning, when she caught a beach ball, and I saw out of the corner of my eye what appeared to be two beach balls in her hand.  Over the next few innings, other people started to notice that when she caught a beach ball, she pretty much friggin' tore the thing in half in the same motion she was catching the ball.  At the end of the game, she had five beach ball carcasses lying by her feet.  People started nicknaming her "Wolverine" about the 4th inning, and more people seemed entertained by trying to hit beach balls in her direction, rather than watching the game itself.

I have no idea who the other guy in the photo is, but it just goes to show how friendly our Dodger family is.

A stark realization

So I'm flipping through my TiVo, deleting various shows, and I noticed an incredibly creepy pattern in my favorite TV shows...

1) West Wing

2) Boston Legal

3) Law & Order

4) Mad Men

5) Spin City

6) Las Vegas

7) Eli Stone

9) Monk

Yes, it >just< dawned on me that all these shows have people in suits and ties.  This can't possibly be a healthy thing.  Oh, we have one honorable mention --

It's only an honorable mention because NPH is the only one consistently in a suit on that show.
